Mark Mitchell

Portfolio Manager, Head of Credit

Mark Mitchell is a portfolio manager and Head of Credit for Kapstream Capital.

Prior to joining Kapstream, Mr. Mitchell served as a Credit analyst / portfolio manager for Colonial First State Global Asset Management from 2001 to 2008. At CFS, Mr. Mitchell's main credit coverage responsibility was utilities, metals and mining, and transportation sectors globally. His previous sector coverage included autos, forestry, defence, and industrials. Additionally, he helped manage well over A$20BB in fixed interest assets.

Prior to joining CFS, Mr. Mitchell worked as a high yield analyst for Banc One Capital Markets in the United States, focusing on the food and auto industries.

Mr. Mitchell has over 14 years of investment experience and holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from DePaul University. He is also a CFA Chart holder.
